WEK is a project of food processing in the garden consisting of two parts: a mobile kitchen and a modular crates system. The kitchen was designed to facilitate the processing of food in the garden and includes all the necessary activities. Folding crates are used to store the collected fruit, and when the front wall of the crate is folded, the crate transforms into a shelf for storing the finished preserves. WEK kitchen was inspired by observations of annual collections from the family garden, the jams stored for the winter season and the difficulties it brings, i.e. transporting heavy crops, standing in an uncomfortable position and the permanent noise in the home kitchen.
